PRAY with INFORMATION

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." ~ Mat 18:19-20

The power of prayer is incredible. However most of us had been too held up by our activities, which could be "righteous duties", sometimes.

In the book of Acts, Jesus commanded, "But you will receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." While the disciples were waiting, they came constantly to pray. It was in the prayer at the upper room, those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. It was during the prayer, that they came across the idea of electing another person to take leadership along with the remaining eleven. The healing of the crippled beggar at Beautiful gate happened as Peter and John were going up into the temple at prayer time. And as they reported the news to their own people, they prayed. And then, the place were shaken after they prayed. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

What did they pray? They prayed, "Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus!" It is about healing, it is about miraculous signs and wonders, it is about proclaiming His name, the name of JESUS! All of these are about witnessing his name. And even with just witnessing His name, we must PRAY!!!

Pray with two or three! And gather with the others to pray! We need to come to congregational prayer meetings, not only to encourage each other, but to gain information to pray!!! Information is so important to prayers, in forming one's prayer life! Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was risen, and they shared this news with each other, and their spirit were lifted up, from doubts to believe, from giving up to pursue the name of Jesus! The Gospel books are information to us, the New Testaments are information to tell us that Christ lives, and then we read the information, and then we believe.

Information is important! Of course, the Holy Spirit can lead us into prayers with or without information, but information will drive us to the edge of what to do, and then ideas will generate with basis of truth, and then as we pray with these information and ideas, the Holy Spirit will put His hand on our sterling in the journey of redemption! Pray!!! and if you can, pray with information, correct information!

Call a STOP in the power of PRAYER!

I had posted an article on abortion at my another blog to raise public health concern, Public Health and Missions Field after the previous post of Sexual Industry at this blog. I realize that these posts had created a large attention, and I am planning to form an interest group to deal with this problem, either as a brainstorming working group, or a prayer group. Let's join resources together, and begin to identify the potential group in outreach of this matter.

Enough bloodshed on the account of abortion!!! Official record of over thirty thousand lives were taken each year in Japan. Human trafficking in prostitution involve raping the girls and controlling them with AV taken in the process, many ended up in HIV/AIDS infection and abortion when a baby is conceived. Can we call it a stop?

Perhaps we are weak, but GOD is strong! I learned the power of prayers, and I learn that God CAN when we can't. I also learned that when things seem not moving, yet in Spirit, as HE stirred us to pray, and we will see CHANGES when time is deal. The amount of joy and happiness is uncontainable when you see the Holy Spirit place everything in order, and the order is exactly of what you had been praying persistently with tears and countless nights of sensing and responding to His prompting at your heart. PRAY! and you will see changes!!! I need you to pray with me!!! I don't know what to pray about, and how to pray for a stop to this situation, but the Holy Spirit knows!

Romans 8:26-27:

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not now what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will."

Do not be afraid when you do not know how to pray, and do not be afraid to soak in tears as you pray. Do not be afraid as you begin to sing a new song, and speak a new tongue as you intercede for Japan. God is supernatural, and He is going to do supernatural thing! Do not put God in a box, striving with our limitations, but trust that He is God, and He is going to do great and new things, just as He did in book of Exodus and Joshua's time! It is nevertheless PRAYER and OBEDIENCE that account for the swift of the Holy Spirit. Remember that!!!

Lives were taken away where uncertainties of the future were heavy loaded and burdened and wearied. The fear of tomorrow is the very reason for a mother to make decision for abortion. The fear of tomorrow is also the very reason that holds a person in his or her comfort zone, refusing to take a step out of the cocoon. An old song, yet a powerful song, that reminds you the reason that Jesus came, the HOPE that lies with the empty tomb, a song that perhaps will well minister to the target group above.

"How sweet to hold a new born baby, and feel the pride and joy he gives. But greater still the calm assurance, this child can face uncertain days because He lives. Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know, I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives. "

Mission Frontiers

Strongholds

Perhaps it is time to think about Akihabara. Recently, I watched NHK (Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai), somehow the issue of Otaku and Hikikomori just reminded me about Akihabara. As I was searching the video reels on Harajuku, I found Akihabara too. A friend called up just to remind me about Akihabara a minute ago.

Perhaps, I had overlooked something about this. What is that about Akihabara? What is the strong force behind it? What are the strong holds? If Akihabra is a place for Otaku, then it is a place that God's love must be revealed! Breaking forces through His love is nevertheless the best weapon! Pray for His love!

In year 2005, I had a vision about Shibuya in Tokyo. Around the same time, a prophetic church in HK received a vision to start a church in Tokyo, where they had started their church planting this March.

Weird, even it was only one day for me in these places, the images of the shops and the roads are still vivid in my mind. As if it came alive in me. The cry of the strong man, and the march of Christ! Do not miss the march!

It's time to exercise our spiritual muscle now! Pray for His church in Akihabra!

Akihabara, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku are all in Tokyo. Is Akihabara a walkable distance from Shibuya, Harajuku, Yoyogi, or Shinjuku? I'm not very sure. But Sibuya, Yoyogi, Harajuku and Shinjuku formed in one line, and are walkable from one stop to another. I don't speak the same language with Akihabara, though I am learning now, perhaps the whole course about Public Health and social study about Hikikomori is preparing me to this. But I do believe that some of you speak the language of Akihabara! God would had prepared your heart for this place! Let us know what God had put in your heart about this issue! Let us join hands in prayers! Let's bring this vision back to our own churches!

Praying for Japan, is not your own issue or my issue. It is about His issue. Regardless the church is called for this matter, as long as we are in the church, the church is for His people! Praying, is about God's business! Amen.

Push on! Press in! For Kyushu

As I was praying for Japan last night, I saw a strong light pierced across the coastal area, forcing its way through Kyushu, traveling its way up to Shikoku and the west.

If I remember correctly, the light started to force in at the coastal line of Nagasaki and Fukuoka, through Kumamoto. This is the line where Makoto and team met difficulties. If that is it, then the opposition is clearly the resistant against the light. The land is in thirst. The light that breaks in will sweep across the land, and take deep root within.

Push on! Press in! The uproar of the East Sea is fierce, but then we have Jesus on our ship!

Pray for the LIGHT to shine on the Land of Kyushu! Land that was once fertiled, land that was once gave up all it had for what they believed, land that suffered the longest persecution for Christ.

She is waking up!

Prayers

Dear Lord,

I pray that your love will fill the hearts of my friends, Bonny, Nichole, Roy, Sophie, Helen, Lily, Silent, Seng Qi, Amy. Heal all wounded hearts, and pour out your oil of mercy and grace, to conceal thier sorrows, to provide strength, to reveal love and hope that is so special in you. Lord, may the spring of the fountain flows within them! May they gain life! In Jesus, Amen.

I pray that you use every piece of work that you had thrust your hand on, and grant them a harvest in Japan! Lord, may you intervene and in our agony, and bring forth restoration of hope and faith and love in the Church! May you strengthen the work that you had placed in our hands. May you make good use of the findings of Keikyo, Kakure Kirishitan, Endo Shusaku, God's Finger Prints, Japan Harvest, Operation Japan, Hipopo Ministry, Lifeline, and many more! May your workers join their hearts and strength together in ploughing your land, to pray for your Kingdom to come, but not slander or stumble by your work!

God, I pray that you will use Dr. Ozawa on his missions in Feb and March. I also pray that you will bless the lineup team which is working to prepare the way for the ship, I pray that the ship will be able to serve the countrysides, and bring forth corporation and promote understanding of the churches! I pray that hindrances to be removed, so that people could come, and common people, non-believer shall come, to taste the delight in serving, to taste the love of Christ, to expose themselves to the light of life!


Lord, I also pray that you use the ministry of Jimmy Hayashi, the ministry of Ps. Suzuki, the ministry of Matthias & Yoko, Rie, Kazue, Masayuki, Richard & Candy and Sam Pillay. These people minister in different places, send your workers to the field, O Lord! They need helpers, they need prayer partners, they need teams of workers that are devoted and faithful!

I also pray that you bless Reimer and Nobuko who are now retired from their mission field. Lord, be our provider! A provider that will never fail us, never cease, always cheerful, always encouraging, always uplifting!

有許多未來的事情，我現在不能識透，但我知誰管著明天，我也知誰牽我手......

我不知道明天的的道路，每一天只為主活，我不借明天的太陽，因明天或許陰暗，我不要為將來憂慮，因為我信主的應許，我今天要與主同行，因他知前面如何。

每一步越走越光明，像攀登黃金階梯，每重擔越挑越輕省，每朵雲披上銀衣，在那裡陽光常普照，在那裡沒有眼淚，在美麗彩虹的盡頭，眾山嶺與天相連。

我不知道明天的道路，或遭遇生活苦楚，但那養活麻雀者，他必然也看顧我，他是我旅途的良伴，或經過水火之災，但救主必與我同在，他寶血把我遮蓋。

偏远的山村

日本其实有很多环境很困苦的地方，逼着很多人为了生计而到外地去谋生。这些去外地谋生的人，因为带着乡音和乡下的习俗，在城市里往往不能被人接纳。尤其是在日本这一片大和气息浓厚的土地，一根凸出的钉子一定要被敲打下去的。

但是乡下也是在太穷了。要不就是严峻的气候，要不就是倒闭的矿业，工业的不景气造成许多的失业，基本上要是不走，很难活下去。（参考北海道和东北的祷告指南，www.operationjapan.blogspsot.com)

有很多偏远的山村，有垂死的老人，有嗷嗷待哺的小孩，有目不识丁的壮年。

求神开我们的智慧，给我们属灵的眼睛，叫我们看见他的子民的需要。如何将福音传给山村的居民呢？他们和山林为伍，山林就是他们的神。基本上，日本的山总是因为满山的鬼魅而成名的。很多乡村就因为这些仅存的怪谈、祭典和神社，一年里在一些特别的日子会恢复一点生气。如何把真正的爱和平安的信息给他们带出来？又如何在这种困难的情况下生活？对教会或者是宣教士来说，都是很大的考验！

求主的国在这里吧！复兴他的教会！复兴他的门徒！愿人能够每一天都饱尝他的爱和恩典。

So many...... So huge a field!

Somehow, I'm amazed. Do you know how many out there need God in their lives? How many need an intervention by the Holy Spirit and His holy hand?

Does a huge number counts?

What is God crying out to us?

How much had we seen? How much had we heard? The blind, the deaf, the mental illness. Mongol, Tibet, Afghan, India, China, Japan, Nepal, Europe, Africa, America, the mountains, the valleys, the rivers, how many more had not heard of Gospel? A friend told me, he would never think of Europe when he thinks about missions. He said, they have plenty of opportunities to hear Christ, when others have none. Yes, Indonesia, Brunei, Asia, Russia, North Korea, many more!

In all these cries, I know only one thing. The field needs workers, the harvest needs workers! So many...... so huge a field! Are we catching hold of His word?

My tears are drying, Lord.
My heart is burnt with desires!
There are so many things to do,
Yet I do not know where to begin.

I cry out my soul to you, Lord.
I need your very guidance,
To walk carefully in your way,
Not to slumber nor sleep,
Before your Kingdom come.

I made your dreams my dreams,
Your desires as my desires.
How I wish I can pursue your will
Full heartedly.
I'm ashame with what I'm lack of,
But I know I'll be make perfect in you!
