Discovering Mission Needs In Jap

Its TIME to TRANSFORM our THOUGHTS into ACTION!

Type:

Meetings - Club/Group Meeting

Date:

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Time:

8:00pm - 10:30pm

Location:

Full Gospel Assembly KL, Basement 1

Description

A whole day event:

  • Photo exhibition
  • Documentaries (God's fingerprints in Japan 1)
  • Food tasting
  • Testimonies

This is the only thing that I can do before I leave to Japan. I wish that through these exhibition items and movies/documentaries screening will capture the audiences' hearts about the crucial needs in Japan.

I have no clue who will come as audience or helper at this moment, yet this is something that I felt that it needs to be done, to fan the fire before it dies off. The event is to help others who had not seen Japan as a mission field to begin to see the huge needs in Japan. And of course, this meeting is meant for people to pray for Japan!

If you are interested to join us as helper, please let me know. I can't do this by myself, I will need you. So, please drop me a message if you would like to come.

People from out station are welcome, I will try my best to arrange home stay for you. So far, we have one respond from KL, one from Indonesia and one from Singapore. Team, if you are serious about Japan, and His call in your heart, we need to get together and do something! Why not take this opportunity to get together, to pray, to work out something in our lives, paint a picture in others' lives? We will learn to uphold each other in difficult times!!!

Note: The size of the event/the feasibility of the event is very much depending on your commitment and your availability

Food of Thoughts

Looking from Inside v.s. Looking from Outside

When Cha-cha was here for ten days, she did more than what other local Malaysians would probably do in 5 years, or once in a life time. Having to mingle with different people group everyday, including English speakers, Chinese speakers, and sign language speakers, she had no choice but to deal with it even with her limitations.

She went to cultural centers that were probably put up as a show for tourism purpose, departmental store jungles where consumer costs are extremely high, and also gained her cultural experience through practical morning and night market tour designed mainly for local middle lower class people.

One thing that I felt like sharing to you most was probably this remark from her: "Somehow this is a great experience, it is so different when I see Japan when I was inside Japan and when I am outside Japan. I have keep reflecting Japan in my mind as I continue to observe new things and new people. ' So, Japan is (........) kind of country!' It is unbelievable as now I can see Japan better. "
